Muffin is my little Pekingese girl that I adopted from a small Maine animal shelter in 2001.  I had never owned a little dog before and had no idea what to expect.  I might have gotten a little dog but I got a HUGE personality.  Muffin has had effects on my life that I never would have expected.  Muffin has serious struggles with allergies and the numerous skin diseases that can come along with that.  Her constant battles with her health issues  pushed me toward my current career as a Veterinary Assistant.  Now my love for her drives me to help more of these great little dogs with big hearts find good homes. Muffin's House is a website intended to provide links to Pekingese in Maine Animal Shelters and Rescues that need homes.  Please take a look around, and remember....
